The new subsidiary to focus on providing new retail solutions specifically to the food and beverage industry
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 24, 2019 — Swyft, Inc., a global leader in automated retail and retail automation, has announced the formation of a new subsidiary, Swyft Food Service Automation. This new subsidiary is focused on providing new retail solutions for the food and beverage industry with an aim to improve the way consumers shop. Swyft Food Service Automation offers new sensor-based technology solutions for vend operators, which Swyft’s existing business models have not previously allowed for. Swyft, Inc. is also pleased to appoint Mike Kiser as CEO of the subsidiary. Mike Kiser is the former CEO of Canteen and former Board Member of Compass Group.

At the National Retail Federation Big Show in January this year Swyft displayed prototypes of their sensor based cabinets and refrigerators that allow consumers to simply pick up items and walk away. These cabinets are planned for release to vend operators at the NAMA trade-show in Las Vegas this week.
